Big Mac-Style Flatbreads – Better Than the Real Thing!

Ingredients
  • Flatbreads or tortillas
  • Ground meat (pork, beef, chicken – your choice)
  • Salt & pepper (plus optional spices)
  • 3 tablespoons of oil (for frying)
  • 4 pickles: 2 thinly sliced for topping, 2 finely chopped for the sauce
  • 1 small red onion (finely chopped) – or yellow onion if you don’t have red
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • For the Special Sauce:
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • A little ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Flatbreads:
      • Spread a thin layer of ground meat over one side of each flatbread.
      • Season with salt, pepper, and any extra spices you like.
  2. Fry the Flatbreads:
      • Heat 2–3 tablespoons of oil in a large pan.
      • Place the flatbreads meat-side down and fry for 2–3 minutes until browned.
      • Flip them over and cook for another 1 minute on the other side.
  3. Make the Sauce:
      • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, and a pinch of pepper.
  4. Assemble:
      • On each cooked flatbread, layer the special sauce, sliced pickles, chopped onion, and shredded lettuce.
      • Fold or serve open-faced – your choice!
  5. Serve:
